Mastering Search & Seizure combines two of Blue to Gold’s most popular classes: Advanced Search & Seizure and Advanced Traffic Stops and added additional topics like community caretaking and emergency aid exception.
This class is vital for any officer, at any level, with any experience. Students will complete the course with a mastery of search and seizure and will know how to make good case law…more importantly…why!
The instruction is eye-opening, fast-paced, not boring because our senior instructors are retired police officers turned attorneys.
This class will empower Law Enforcement Officers to Make Legally Defensible Decisions
As a law enforcement officer, it is essential to have a thorough understanding of the Fourth Amendment and how it applies to search and seizure situations. This is where Advanced Search and Seizure training comes in.
The goal of this course is to help officers independently analyze and solve Fourth Amendment problems, leading to a reduction or elimination of lawsuits and the ability to make good case law. By the end of the course, students will understand when the Fourth Amendment applies, the requirement of consent, recognized exceptions, or a warrant for every search or seizure, and much more.
The course is broken down into several modules, starting with a solid understanding of the Fourth Amendment. The class then teaches the three requirements for consent searches, community caretaking, six warrantless motor vehicle searches, and more.
Our training is high-energy and interactive, ensuring that students stay engaged and motivated throughout the course. Upon completion, all students will receive a completion certificate and the Search & Seizure Survival Guide, providing them with a handy reference for future use.
Don't miss this opportunity to empower yourself and your colleagues with the skills and knowledge needed to make legally defensible decisions in search and seizure situations. Sign up for Mastering Search and Seizure training today.
